Esther's Threadtail is a narrow-winged species with a very simple nervation. Males often hover over quiet water.
Unlike Neoneura amelia, the abdomen is entirely red.
Size: 32 mm. Habitat: river and stream pool. Distribution: Costa Rica to Venezuela.
